Harold Stuart

Harold Stuart, CAGO, is the director of technical operations for the BYU organ workshop. In addition to his extensive training and experience as a software engineer, specializing in computer security and cryptography, he has also studied and played the organ since he was 15. His teachers have included Lynn Thomas, Liz Forsyth and Neil Harmon, with whom he has also studied composition. He started piano lessons at age 5.

He is director of the Technology Committee for the American Guild of Organists, and has presented at the Guild’s national convention. He also has served as Dean and currently serves as the education chair for the Utah Valley Chapter.
