2026 Online Workshop Access Information

Thank you for your interest in our 2026 Online Organ Workshop!

Our workshop website will be your central hub for everything you’ll need, including access to live and recorded classes, the digital handout booklet, and additional resources.

Detailed login instructions and access information will be emailed to attendees the week before the workshop.

BYU NetID (Account Access)

To view workshop sessions online, you must log in to our website using a BYU account (referred to as a BYU NetID).

Using your NetID to login when you register online for the workshop will help streamline access to the classes and materials.

Don't Have a NetID?

If you have previously registered for the workshop you may already have a NetID. You can find it in your registration confirmation email titled "Confirmation for BYU Organ Workshop." Your NetID is found on the attachment and is listed as your "Login."

If you attended the workshop online previously we should have your NetID. You may email organ@byu.edu to have it sent to you.

If you register without a NetID, you’ll need to create one before the workshop begins. Once it’s set up, please email it to organ@byu.edu so we can provide access to the workshop website.

How to Create a NetID

Accessing Online Sessions

Most workshop sessions will be streamed live via YouTube. You may attend sessions live as they happen, or watch recordings at your convenience. Recordings will be available shortly after each live session and can be accessed through September 20. No camera or microphone is required to watch.

The following sessions will not be streamed:

  • Low Stress Performance Opportunity
  • Supervised Practice
  • Level 6 Technique and Repertoire
  • Lessons Beyond Level 6
  • Pedal Technique "Feet On"
  • Field Trip to Salt Lake City
  • Lunchtime Listening at the Carillon Tower

Session links will be available on the workshop website once the event begins. You must log in with your NetID to access the links.

An example of how the links will look is shown below.

Streaming Tips

Our production team strives for high-quality broadcasts from BYU, but your viewing experience will depend on your internet connection.

If you experience buffering, pausing, or interruptions:

  • Your internet speed may be limiting performance
  • Contact your internet provider for assistance
  • Alternatively, watch the recorded version later (this often resolves playback issues)

For better audio clarity, we recommend using headphones or earbuds.

Handouts

The workshop handout booklet will be available on the website the week before the workshop. You must log in with your NetID to access and download the booklet. You may view it digitally or print it (approximately 175 pages). Individual class handout links will also be available on the website and will be included in each session's YouTube description.
